Finchat for fund members

Tools to help fund members improve their financial literacy and make the most of their fund.

Financial literacy

  1. Financial planning articles are easily accessible via tabs or the glossary.
  2. Calculators make it easy to play “what-ifs”, allowing the user to examine different scenarios to get a better perspective.
  3. Members can down load easy-to-understand info-grams.
  4. The fund rules can be incorporated.

Financial health check

  1. The financial health check allows members to check whether they have adequate provision for estate planning, retirement, death, disability and income protection. It also examines items like budgeting and wealth accumulation.
  2. The user can choose to do any single aspect or all.
  3. After completing any item the user can click the “Submit” button and all details are sent to the designated email address as a CSV and PDF file. This can be the fund’s financial planning division. The CSV file can be imported into any financial planning program that accommodates this facility.
  4. The PDF file also contains an analysis of the data entered making it easy for an adviser to identify financial planning needs.
  5. The health check is hosted by Finchat who do all the updates and upgrades.
  6. Each fund adviser can have their own page with their profile with the fund’s logo and “look/feel”.

Fact find, needs analysis and risk profiler

  1. The online fact find allows members to complete all their details online and send them to the fund’s financial planning division providing substantial cost/time savings.
  2. The fact find is sent as a CSV and PDF file. The CSV file can be imported into any financial planning program that accommodates this facility.
  3. The PDF file also contains an analysis of the data entered making it easy for the fund adviser to identify financial planning needs.
  4. The health check is hosted by Finchat who do all the updates and upgrades.
  5. Each fund adviser can have their own page with their profile and their fund’s logo and “look/feel”.
